Parties and Play
Q: What is Open Play?
A: Open play is open to the public play time. Check hours on the website or Facebook page. A waiver must be submitted for children attending. The price is $7.99 for the 1st child and $6.99 for additional children. You can fill out our waiver, (found under the Parties And Play tab,) in advance to save time. WE DO NOT TAKE CASH
Q: What ages can come to play?
A:The play areas are focused on children ages 0-6, however, there are play areas appropriate for slightly older children. Some of the play areas have age restrictions and weight limits. Up to age 9 can play in play areas. All ages are welcome to come with their family.
Q: Where are you located?
A: Our address is 511 Shartom Drive, Augusta, GA 30907 which is in the Augusta Business Center. It is right off of Washington Rd and the entrance to the Business Center is between Applebee’s and Taqueria El Patron. We are next to the Girl Scouts.
Q: When I book a party at Parties & Play, is it private?
A: Yes, all parties booked are private and it will be your guests only. Guests will need to submit a waiver.
Q: I don’t want to book a private party. Can I bring a cake or cupcakes and some gifts to do an informal party with a few people during Open Play?
A: We do not allow “informal parties” during Open Play. We do allow outside food/drinks but they MUST be kept at the TABLES ONLY. This is to make the experience the best for all of our guests. There is no way to separate your “party” from the public during Open Play. If you would like to meet with friends to celebrate at our location, you will need to book a private party or leave any food, decorations, gifts etc at home.
Q: Can I have food/drinks at Parties and Play?
A: During Open Play outside food or drinks is permitted. For private parties, we do allow outside food and drinks. Regardless of Open Play or private parties, food and drinks must be kept in the food areas at all times and not in the play areas.
Q: How far in advance should I book a party?
A: For both our Parties And Play location and character visits we are often booked 2-6 months out and recommend booking as soon as possible. Sometimes we availability less than 2 months out, however it may be very limited. You can cancel your booking for a full refund up to 30 days before your party.
Character Visits
Q: What characters do you have available for visits?
A: We have almost every Princess that you can think of, so many Superheroes and many more characters including holiday characters! Click on the Characters tab for a list. If you dont see what you are looking for, you can make a special request.
Q: I am looking for a character that I do not see listed. Can I send a special request?
A: YES! If you do not see the character that you are looking for, please put in the notes your special request or email fairytaledreamsaugusta@gmail.com with your request.
Q: Does the character entertain during their visit?
A: Yes! We bring everything that we need for the activities on your selected package. Your character will entertain and lead activities. It is important to note that the characters are NOT babysitters and parents/adults must be present and keeping an eye on children.
